Why were these changes made and how does that effect me?
With the increased cost of living, increases to the Fair Work minimum wages, and rising Superannuation requirements, the NDIS reviewed the Pricing Arrangements to better suit the economic environment. This allows NDIS Providers to better meet their obligations when paying NDIS workers.
So how does this increase in price caps influence participant NDIS plans? Luckily, the NDIA also provides an increase to all participant budgets, to reflect the increased rate that Providers may now be charging! In short, if you had 10 hours per week of support in your plan, you will still have 10 hours worth of funding per week with the new arrangements.
